FLAINE - Grand Massif

Flaine is located in the Haute-Savoie region, between Geneva and Chamonix Mont-Blanc, nestling at the summit of one of the largest linked ski areas in France, the Grand Massif.
A functional "ski-in/ski-out" resort, where everything is designed to make your holiday hassle-free.


The legend of Flaine
Legend has it that a giant came walking in our mountains, using the valley formerly known as “Flainoz” (Savoyard for pillow) as a pillow when he needed to rest (Flainoz is local language for pillow). ..
That is as far as the legend goes, lost with the giant’s dreams. Flainoz became Flainaz, and then Flaine.

LES CARROZ - Grand Massif

Synonymous with skiing for over 70 years, Les Carroz is a small authentic village resort in the heart of the Alps, linked to the Grand Massif, 5th largest ski area in Europe (6 minutes via the Kédeuze gondola). The village has managed to preserve its traditional charm in harmony with the beauty of the surrounding mountains.

This authentic village, perched on a plateau at an altitude of 1140m, is by far the easiest and fastest way to reach the Grand Massif ski area. 10 minutes from the motorway exit, step into your skis and the slopes are yours! As a new service this winter: les Carroz is providing ski lockers at the bottom of the pistes, so that you can really make the most of the après-ski.


VILLAGE RESORT WITH A FAMILY RATING

Les Carroz has the Grand Massif "Family and Mountain" rating.

Children and beginners are welcomed at a special beginners' area equipped with two tows a hundred metres from the village centre. Here you can experience your first skiing experience in complete safety.

LE MONT SAXONNEX - Aravis

Située sur un large plateau ensoleillé à 1 140 mètres d'altitude, la station village des mont-saxonnex conserve une dimension familiale et propose de nombreux plans chics et adresses intimes. Ici, on vit au rythme village !

Entourée de prestigieux sommets alpins et fief du ski alpin depuis plus de 70 ans, le village a su garder son charme et son authenticité en préservant la beauté des montagnes qui l'entourent. 

Aux mont-saxonnex, l'architecture raisonnée est faite de petits et grands chalets. On aime cette station pour son domaine skiable étendu et varié, où initiés et débutants bénéficient d'itinéraires et deparcours adaptés à leurs attentes. La station est idéalement située à dix minutes de la sortie de l'autoroute A40 !
